@JigglyPants44 We are Americans. That was the 1st thing we tried. After that we tried to barbecue to out smoke the smoke but nothing seems to be working.
They need to make a short film where a stereotypical pimp discovers he can hypnotize people. Using it on his street walkers, the police, and then seeing how far he can go with it until he gets killed and the movie ends.
2nd dude shouldn't have grabbed the guy by the throat. 1st dude should have immediately tased him when he pulled it out and ended the situation there. If you are told to put your hands behind your back you are already under arrest and can't talk your way out. Just cuff up.
@hikingshawty@lesthecroc It isn't cool to be anything other than detached and disdainful of your country. Being patriotic sometimes means you're racist or something.
I'm 30 so my experience is outdated but I didn't get a license or know how to drive until I was 21. A teenager driving requires both an adult that cares enough about them to teach them and someone willing to provide a car to learn on. Not everyone has that, especially now.
Yet another friend with a child turning 16 next week. Hasn’t gotten a learner’s permit. Zero interest in a driver’s license. I keep hearing this same story.
What’s WRONG with these kids?!?! On my 16th birthday, my mom took me out of school to take my driving test. Same for everyone I knew.
Even if you couldn’t afford your own car, you could beg the use of the family station wagon occasionally. Freedom. Independence. Heck, privacy on a date! Are these kids giving all that up for scrolling TikTok and an occasional Uber?
@BourneyJas32358@LoudOutside Bears have more sensitive senses than humans. A weaker spray is more effective on them than it would be on us. Get regular, strong pepper spray.

People say this is a bailout of German industry disguised as military funding. That better be true. American troops aren't based in Rammstein, Weisbaden, etc for Germany's protection. If we allow a powerful German war machine to exist then we will have forgotten NATO'S purpose.
This is a harrowing, heartbreaking account from Sidney Williams, a 73-year-old WW1 veteran living at the Royal Star and Garter home in Richmond, about the trauma, pain, and regrets. He openly states that it wasn't worth it and that he wouldn't volunteer again.
You can see and feel the pain within him. I certainly can anyway, and it affects me deeply. My family has seen plenty of people lost or mamed in the world wars and beyond. Too many people celebrate world wars that they don't understand when we should, in reality, be mouring uneccessery tragedy.
There he sits, a shadow of himself, and he's supposed to be one of the "survivors."
🎤 “Was it worth it?”
🪖 “No.”
What a waste 🕊
@shagbark_hick The only time I ever got bitten by a tick as an adult is basic training so this checks out. Additionally, putting a lit cigarette near where a tick bites you is an easy way to get them to unlatch. My mom used to do it whenever I got them as a kid.
