At this price point there are brands like Samsung that provides more number of updates for most of its models. There are other brands as well but for selected number of models. Not bashing Moto but if I need to keep my phone longer and secure, I would not go with this one.

@geekyranjit Yeah, impressive on the hardware but doubtful about the software support. These days Moto has the terrible record of the same. Even for this phone the way its quoted is quite ambiguous "3 years of OS update" Note that its different from saying 3 OS updates. (1/2).

@firewallfox100 @brave as, its faster, memory efficient, Natively feature rich & has site isolation support in android. It greatly enhances my workflow without compromising privacy. Being independent on Chromium alone is not compelling enough for me to forfeit this benefits and use @firefox.

@sodiumPen Cant compare this behavior to @firefox for other platforms IMHO. Any browser on iOS is restricted to use @Apple's core WebKit (Known for best resource allocation on native hardware). I don't see the same with #Gecko in all other cases. Speaking from experience in #Win & #Android.

@BritishCarsFan @brave @YouTube Turn filtering to aggressive, If it still doesn't work, clear browser data and try again, still no luck, experiment with various content filtering rules. Fdr it's working flawlessly for me. So I'm sure it's not from braves' end.

@promptsurfer @brave They need income to operate & I agree with this as there is this trend of privacy-oriented techs eroding because of a lack of resources when their only income is through donations. I wouldn't mind them as far as they don't profit from our data & provide an option to disable it.
