@eamondowney@MikeCrispi I sleep just fine knowing that absolute trainwreck of a "presidency" is over. We were lucky that Biden was so widely seen as a complete failure by the general public, otherwise the Dems might have had a chance to rig it again.
@Louis74330106@MikeCrispi He sold his influence through his son, with 10% reserved for the "big guy" as they called him.
He just managed to screw up the presidency so bad that nobody wants to associate themselves with him by donating to his library.
Truly a legacy of absolute failure.
@drmj2112@MikeCrispi I don't think you should even get a presidential library if you weren't actually the President.
At least if they do end up building one, they should be sure to make a note of all the handlers who were actually in charge while Biden was eating ice cream in the basement.
@eamondowney@MikeCrispi Sure, and the other feathers were double-digit inflation, multiple new wars, and flooding the country with tens of millions of illegal aliens.
"bUt He wAsNt bOuG.." yes he was. 10% for the "big guy" as they called him.
@lostmyliberal@reddit_lies Socialists are usually a product of two kinds of people: Upper-middle-class nepo babies that have never had to struggle for anything, and people who provide no marketable value to society, and so must demand value from others in order to survive.
@psycho_Bandaid@reddit_lies If you imagine an upper-middle-class nepo baby who was provided everything in life and never had to struggle once, as is the case for most socialists, you can see why this happens.
@WeeHughie1973@icpolicy@GeoRebekah This reasoning is exactly why kids aren't allowed to play outside anymore.
The point of bathroom bills is to prevent troons from jacking off in the women's bathroom to satisfy their fetish, not give assholes with an ego problem a reason to bully young parents.
@KrystalWaterfor@AngelaBelcamino@SenWarren Then the answer should be that the government takes a stake in the companies it gives benefits to, not simply extract whole-dollar wealth that technically doesn't actually exist.
It's better revenue anyway, as the government can collateralize and borrow against its own holdings.
@dumdumfucktard@AngelaBelcamino@SenWarren What's really wild is people believe Musk is actually a trillionaire.
They never ask, what happens if Elon decides to sell all his stocks? He wouldn't end up anywhere near $1 trillion.
The valuations on these stocks are sky-high, but it doesn't matter because nobody ever sells.
@MonicaBaumann@arthur_spirling Sure, if you trust the word of same state agencies that are denying voters the right to a secret ballot, which is guaranteed by California's constitution.
Do you expect corrupt individuals to ever be truthful?
@MonicaBaumann@arthur_spirling Yeah, but why keep doing it over and over again?
They knew it was a problem before, then they did it again and called it a "coincidence".
It's obvious why they keep doing it.
@MonicaBaumann@arthur_spirling https://t.co/CMA0cpc3Ui
https://t.co/1Exb9eYC1K
Multiple state agencies have been forced to address this when people noticed over several past elections.
The fact that they repeat this "mistake" every other year is because it's not a mistake.
@MonicaBaumann@arthur_spirling Sure, I guess by some definitions, counties printing ballot return envelopes with holes strategically placed to indicate who the vote is for, is "legitimate".
Same with the videos we've seen of left-wing activists in SF signing up homeless people to vote with false identities.
@MonicaBaumann@arthur_spirling The main trade-off here is that California would actually have legitimate elections. Currently, we do not, because the current system allows those in power to maintain that power illegitimately.
Is democracy merely a trade-off for you?
@Nolan_Mc@arthur_spirling@ClaytonNall It's not an unwillingness. It's deliberate.
The people who want to maintain the system that takes 28 days to certify an election simply want to maintain a system where they can easily cheat.
This is a simple fact.
@arthur_spirling It's because those people who tell you there's no other way have a desire to cheat in order to illegitimately stay in power.
There is quite literally no other explanation, not even simple incompetence.
@geemann2020@BadAINoData@andreavhowe Trump is a moderate Republican.
You just won't believe that because you've been consuming far too much propaganda.
