@KristalDixon That’s why my mother refused to look at those places. There’s nothing to stop people from having younger family live with them. Which is fine, unless you want to live somewhere quiet. One place was next to a regular apt complex and had a shared playground.

And they put in a limit to the number of houses in the neighborhood that could be rented. I was on the fence about that limit but if the houses are going to sit, maybe it’ll work.

@brianeason @RKempNewsDaily I honestly don’t care if the house is rented or not. I lived in rental houses most of my childhood and know it can be tough to find a suitable home for a family. But this house is just sitting there and could have been sold to someone who would take good care of it.

They had a renter for a year who left piles of trash and furniture outside when they moved out and it took months for the company to clean it up. It’s now listed for $3200 per month and it’s been empty since September.
