@MZHemingway Any editor still working at the NYT is mindful that any story he or she approves can trigger some ex-ivy-town, junior-level copywriter into leading a revolt that will cost them their job.
Why anybody still thinks it can be taken as serious journalism is beyond me.
@WittMatthews921 @mhguss @JackPosobiec Sure, they had a flood of VISA cancellations and eventually said Flynn’s cancellation was a mistake and tried to reinstate it, but I’m sure they didn’t care.
@hollymathnerd Depends: If you are prone to skepticism/cynicism but have ardent faith, you might consider it a miracle.

@LanchestersCube@razdiver@EddieZipperer@HeyTammyBruce Longer than 15 years: I noticed the decline start right after the Time-Warner merger, They started showing Sports Illustrated photo shoots and People magazine celebrity profiles in the 8:00 PM news slot and it’s been downhill ever since.
@Nijea2WashedUp @AnnLesbyPhD@RealCandaceO Well, for one thing, she literally sleeps next to a white guy. If that’s not white adjacent, I know what is.
For another, this is a parody account.
@GrowLikeProtea@ScottMWest@AnnLesbyPhD TBF, except for TikTok being called an educational resource, the rest of the thread is really hard to distinguish from some other things I’ve seen on this site, so I sympathize.
@ropetrickeffect @Classicalib@TPCarney Thanks for the clarification.
I was just using those numbers as an example. I think even with your clarification, my point still stands: the change in Bentleys sold, given the size of the population that can actually afford one, doesn’t point to a big trend to me.
