@anishmoonka Bad take. The price trajectory has turned before Kenya started burning the ivory. It will push up the price of ivory ceteris paribus to say the least. If the trend was already established and even 10% of global stock doesn't steer the price direction, ofc it's not the reason.
The market is forward looking.
That's why it can price in $NVDA forward GPU sales at 10% of global GDP, but it can't price in the world's largest oil supply shock in history (on a % normalized basis).
Oil, simply just isn't important for the economy. Nothing is made from it.
