Our Year 3/4 children had great fun learning to play the ukelele with Jack from @LMSlincsmusic This was their first ever lesson and the sounds coming from our hall were fantastic. Our children really embraced this challenge with enthusiasm and musicality!
Children from Cliffedale Primary School embarked on an unforgettable journey into the world of Bugsy Malone at Walton Academy's Interactive Theatre Workshop.

The children have been spoken to and reminded of their responsibilities when using the internet. We would appreciate it if you could speak to your own children and discuss their usage of sites and apps as well as looking at the guidance given by the Nat. Online Safety group below
We are aware that several children in Yrs 5&6 are regularly accessing TikTok and are posting videos on there. This is extremely concerning, especially as the age limit for TikTok is 13 years old. It is highly probable that children will be exposed to inappropriate videos
while using this site, especially via the For You section, where children are shown videos of any content and if a child watches that video they will be shown more of that kind whether they want it or not. We have also had reports of children posting videos about other children.
Today, Yrs 3 & 4 joined a live webinar run by the NHS. They met a Clinical Scientist who explained his role. There was then a true / false quiz about the NHS. The children learnt about diversity and have started designing posters to enter in a competition being run by the #nhs

The whole Cliffedale team would like to thank all of our school community for your support during our recent Ofsted inspection. We can’t yet share Ofsted’s findings or judgement. Thank you to our pupils for their conduct, behaviour and attitude over the last few days.
Thank you to our parents who have taken time to complete surveys, speak to inspectors on the gates or pass their well wishes onto staff via comments or even sweet treats! A special thanks to parents who added comments on the survey, these have been shared with leaders today
Well done to everyone who took part in the Rotary swimarathon at the Meres last night. More details to follow but a fantastic effort by all involved! We hope you are having a well deserved rest today.
We need your help!
We are promoting #LoveofReading and want our children to have a book for pleasure. Budgets are tight so we are making a plea to our Cliffedale Community. If you can donate any books you no longer need, please bring them in to school. 🙏
