GMOs have faced a lot of resistance and this is a huge debate, we have a lot of production across the globe that is steward towards conventional agriculture but there are growing concerns about food safety.

Uganda stands as a vital player in East Africa with 40% of the region’s arable land.

There are a lot of opportunities along the organic agric value chain and production including trading, exporting which we can have from the G77 Summit.

The ratio of fresh food to processed food currently calls for deliberate efforts for agro processing.

We encourage investors to explore opportunity in establishing processing facilities in the organic food sector.
