From floods to droughts, climate crises increase the risk of GBV, disrupt access to SRHR services, and deepen existing inequalities. Women and girls face higher risks of violence, forced marriage, and unsafe pregnancies especially in displaced or disaster-hit communities.
Climate change is forcing people to move due to floods, droughts, displacement and loss of livelihoods. This climate mobility can increase exposure to Gender-Based Violence (GBV), especially for women, girls and other vulnerable groups.
Young people need more than a seat at the table,we need a voice that influences decisions.
Meaningful youth participation means moving beyond consultation to real influence in planning, budgeting, policymaking and climate action.
#LCOYKenya#YouthLeadership#ClimateAction
Almost 90% of young people say financial security is key to starting a family, yet millions lack stable opportunities.
To turn their big dreams into reality, youth need economic stability.

@BrianMukasa5@TheTree_Oclock@siamantasharon@Chesok_Staicy@Aisha1Khamis Climate justice demands responses that are equitable, rights-based and gender-responsive, safeguarding health, dignity, bodily autonomy and protection.
A just transition puts people, not only the planet, at the centre of climate action.
The climate crisis is reshaping how people live, access services and exercise their rights. For women and girls, that often means greater protection risks, disrupted access to SRHR services, lost livelihoods and heightened exposure to gender-based violence.
Climate change lands unevenly across the globe , and it's the Human body that often absorbs the impact first.Climate change doesn't hit everyone equally — the body is where the crisis lands first. 🌍
Join us as we unpack how a warming planet drives GBV, SRHR , Conflict.
