So proud of our Horizon High School culinary team for earning 3rd place at the Culinary Star Competition in Dallas on Feb. 13. Their shrimp risotto nailed this year’s theme, A Taste of the Mediterranean, and Ashley Torres won Best Knife Skills. Way to represent El Paso! 🌟🍤

Clint ISD Child Nutrition is launching the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP), an elementary-only initiative for Pre-K–5th grade students. Students will receive free fresh fruits and vegetables during the school day. 🍎🥕

Desert Hills Elementary had a wonderful National Milk Day celebration.

We were glad to welcome Price’s Dairy, who supported the event with Mary the Moo and fun giveaways for students at Desert Hills.

Students enjoyed learning more about milk, including how it provides calcium and important vitamins that help them grow strong and healthy.

We also offered cookies to go along with their milk, the perfect combo for a special treat!

These promotions help students better understand the food and services we offer in the cafeteria while keeping the experience fun. 🥛🥪🐄
