What a great day for the Clinton High School Band! They received all Superior Ratings at the MHSAA marching evaluations. Later that evening they competed in the Pearl HS show and received awards in all categories, and received 2nd place band overall and was awarded Mayors Cup.

The CHS Band had a great first competitive show performance today at the Conquistador Classic at Olive Branch HS!
2nd place in music performance, general effect, visual performance, and percussion; 2nd place in its class and 2nd overall; 2023 Reserved Grand Champions!

Congrats to freshmen oboist, Emily Baugher, on attending the Scott County Honor Band Clinic this past weekend! She earned first chair in the top Honor's Band! Way to go, Emily!

Congrats to Kyler Greco, percussionist, who is now a member of the 2023 Mississippi Lions All-State Band on tenor drums! He will be traveling with the band to Boston this summer! We are so proud of Kyler and all his hard work and dedication! Way to go, Kyler!

Come see the Clinton Bands' performance of their 2022 show, "Resilience" at the MHSAA State Marching Championships this Saturday, October 22 at Northwest Rankin High School. The performance time is 1:15pm. Come early and cheer loudly!

We earned all Superior ratings today at the MHSAA State Marching Evaluations, and qualified for State Championship in 2 weeks. At the Pearl Invitational, we received the Mayor’s Cup and placed 2nd overall. We placed 2nd in the following: Guard, Percussion, Effect, Visual, Music.

We are excited about our first competition of the season on Saturday, October 1st at Ridgeland High School. We will perform at 2:00pm and 7:45pm. Admission is $10.
