@SynthPotato@asha_shar Yet. From the inside chatter, Bethesda/Zanimax/Obsidion/id folks have no clue how they’re supposed to do get anything done while so gutted.
@EvansVeris@Methshin She’s attempting to use lowered labor costs to offset hardware costs, which is a direct result of over-investing on AI, her previous position. The studios wont be able to function effectively so gutted, and the losses will likely get worse.
@SSD_2X@epictreasure1@asha_shar Gross. I recognize some of these names. They were essential to their studios’ successes. Yesterday’s action will harm, not help, these studios profitability as well as harming the individuals affected, but those responsible for X-Box’s problems are so far unscathed.
@epictreasure1@bulldoggydoggg@asha_shar They are wildly profitable, though. And X-Box’s problems are more about hardware costs, a result of over-investment in AI. What division did Sharwa previously work in again? Laying off so many people you can’t effectively function due to problems she created isn’t a solution.
Today’s decision isn’t just bad ethics (though it is sociopathically unethical); it’s bad business. You have discarded essential crew. These now-skeletal studios can’t maintain quality. @asha_shar, a person of conscience or reason would have resigned before taking today’s action
@XeoMafia@JamieJones723@PaulTassi But the massive investment and infrastructure building in AI continues, and while it does, hardware will remain unaffordable for consumers.
@AmazonHelp The item, which again I 100% needed on the promised delivery date of the 9th, has now been pushed again to the 12th. Reliability is part of what your customers pay for. Making it this plain that Amazon is unreliable seems like poor business.
How is it you can place dozens of Amazon orders and all arrive promptly, but as soon as one is non-negotiable has-to-arrive-on-time, a-delay-is-as-bad-as-not-delivering-at-all, it’s delayed. How do they know? @amazon
@AmazonHelp I realize this is a automated response, but you missed the “late is as bad as not delivering it at all” part. I’ll have scramble to purchase a similar item at a physical store before an event I’m hosting this evening. An apology without any attempt to do anything is hollow.
@UofOklahoma Congratulations on finding that rarest of things, a clear case of binary right and wrong, and managing to choose the binary wrong. Impressive in its own way.
@TurningPointOU Gloating. Clear and unambiguous wrong beat clear and unambiguous right today, and you gloat. I’d say shame on you, but if you had any shame you’d already be paralyzed by it.
