this is my thread of cosplay build threads! i cannot promise things have been finished or will be finished but hey, at least there's progress to see!
if you're more into IG, i tend to post semi-regular WIPs in my stories!
also check my site and patreon!

i heard the tree support crack and let it string some filament out for a few layers before carefully holding said strings up to let them become the base of the support and it actually worked
clean-up necessary but it's just a base anyway so i'll take it lmao
@JSS98Rock My father-in-law was truck jacked when he was delivering IBM computers in the 90s. And they left him in a ditch after beating him with a bat at a truck stop. He survived, inside job.
got the lining, sleeves and collar off, pockets sewn shut and shawl collar drafted. so far, so good. i missed working in leather, i'm so glad i found these jackets cheap to modify. not looking nearly as forward to the pleather ngl. won't have perfect seam match but will go quick!
my husband as we washed up for bed last night: man, i wish i would've thought of it sooner, i would be izzy hands for halloween and you could be blackbeard
me, tonight:
this was the bodysuit with two front bones hastily pushed in and nothing else i needed to actually maintain the vertical tension. coutil with a faux charmeuse fashion layer. it only really reduced at my natural waist to give me some definition, like 1-2", but it's shelved for now
PROGRESS THREAD: lina inverse from slayers NEXT!
listen, we have been planning a slayers group for over a decade and we keep losing our lina so now -i- will be our lina! gently genderbent to have a breastplate/codpiece but otherwise faithful to the original design!
i have broken 4 zippers trying to make lina's bodysuit and pants and it feels worse every time i do it lmao
i'm probably gonna scrap the bodysuit at this point and just wear normal shapewear that doesn't redistribute my fat in any particular way and deal with that debuff instead
i still can't find the packed workshop stuff that had the old lina pauldrons in it so i might have to make new if they don't turn up by next weekend blehhh
to-day i am dragging the old standing AC up to the studio in the hopes of making it more bearable to work and with any luck lina will be wearable by this evening sans cloak (which i'm gonna grab fabric for on payday)
AC set up, cut a new window fitting out of foam for it and it worked perfectly, fan is on to help circulate, gonna take a few to cool off and then it's back to the grind for AUSA
