@MaeoftheMidwest@jseubanks@WNBA They're subsidized by the NBA so building a fan base isn't incentivized. If she knew the WNBA's existence was on the line with her job she'd be singing a different tune.
@duediligenceguy How is soh traffic headed towards normalization? Traffic is now about ten percent of normal levels, and according to Reuters, Brent Crude has zero loadings in August. Is that normal?
@unusual_whales Then an investment in Atlas Salt, the first new major salt mine in 25 to 30 years may be a good idea. They should start construction next year.
@GuntherEagleman When they are subsidized by the NBA it doesn't matter how much money they lose. The league would have an entirely different attitude if their jobs were on the line.
@JakeKAllDay@unusual_whales Iran has been very clear it intends to charge "maritime service fees" after the sixty day negotiation period. Perhaps the US can persuade them otherwise but that is their intention.
@investinguab Very few tankers are entering the soh which is more important than the 1 to 4 week flood of previously trapped tankers exiting. This should eventually drive prices up.
@JoshYoung@MarineTraffic Tankers are now unwilling to enter the gulf and previously trapped outbound traffic will only last 1 to 4 weeks. How will the administration solve this?
@ProfessorPape Agreed, but right now few tankers dare enter the soh. If they want to monetize it they need to make it safe. Firing on ships doesn't help.
