@crp_uk @TimPollardCars @BMW_UK @BMW Being the happy owner of this one, I am happy to report that the doors are very cumbersome to get over, very heavy and complex, but soooo cool!😊 overall the car isn’t fast in any way, but brilliantly built for such a low volume model.

Whatever happened to sliding doors on cars? The #BMW Z1 was such a curio in its short production run from 1989-91 and I’ve been lucky enough to have a brief go in the @BMW_UK heritage example. Such cool operation, but cost/package/complexity put paid to it being more common 🤔
