As it stands, INEOS are already letting Michael Carrick down but that won’t be spoken about. If we don’t rebuild the midfield properly he unfortunately won’t last the season and it won’t be his fault. How many times have this ownership let the manager down.

While i understand INEOS’S thinking in only wanting players who give full priority to the club, it needs to stop. Yes it is ideal when a player wants to give “priority” to United but that will not always be the case. There are scenarios where players may want to play for United but aren’t willing to risk giving full priority as it could potentially harm their career if the deal doesn’t go through. We need to push for players more and stop expecting them to fall into our arms.

People are quick to forget how important Amad was in the 24/25 season. It was obvious he was lacking confidence last season but he’s seemed to have gained it back during the World Cup. It’s clear the potential is there. I’m expecting next season to be a big one for him.

Will have to keep a close eye on Aurelien Tchouameni for France tonight. I’m really hoping INEOS fix up and push to sign him. He would be a massive signing and would really make up for losing out on Mateus Fernandes.
