Grim Warning from NTIA: Is This the End of UK Clubs? The Last Night Out on 31.12.2029
The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) has just issued a stark warning: UK Clubs could vanish by 31.12.29. With 37% of clubs gone since March 2020—3 clubs per week— 150 Clubs per year - if this trend continues, we’re facing the Last Night Out before nightclubs disappear from our culture forever.
Clubs like Fabric, Ministry of Sound,FAC 251 and SubClub are more than venues—they’re cultural landmarks that foster creativity, community, and the heartbeat of our cities.
The NTIA has launched #TheLastNightOut campaign to fight back, calling for government intervention to save our nightlife. Without urgent action, we risk losing a vital part of our identity and economy.
Sign the petition or write to your local MP, support the cause, and let’s ensure 31.12.29 isn't the end.

When a child plays with a big box of Lego, they pull out arms, legs, bodies, heads and make the widest range of characters their young creative minds allow.
As they grow up, some in this world try to influence those minds toward what they think people should look like, who they should love or worship, how they should dress, speak, who they should dislike.
Life doesn’t start like that and it doesn’t have to be like that.
Two pieces of fake news this week have resulted in riots in the UK, and a wall of uninformed opinion that was not only hurtful to two Olympic athletes, but so many others around the world.
If you’re an ally to any marginalised group, now is not the time to hide away. Throwing bricks back is not the answer. So if a friend, family member, colleague or neighbour is being influenced (or has bought into) this tsunami of bigoted views, ask the question:
“How has this affected you personally?”
It probably hasn’t, and if it has, it was almost certainly an isolated incident.
Don’t be a bystander, be that kid playing with Lego.
Everyone is Welcome Here. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
It has not. But we’ll keep doing what we do in the hope that we can convince it to, and that the discriminator becomes the excluded minority.

Five years ago we were on the Beeb. We started out as a pretty local campaign, but wanted to take positive action when two women were homophobically abused and physically attacked on a bus in Camden, so to Camden we went!

If we’ve helped change anything, that’s been through adoption of the campaign and business owners that want to create welcome spaces. But perhaps they are islands, is the world outside a better place? Has discrimination decreased? 3/4

I am sat in a field in Suffolk, drinking my favourite beer in front of a small fire, with my boy in the seat next to me and my love in the van. This is wonderful.
