The boat victims would produce evidence that supports their position, not Paul’s. The trial would have brought it all out.

@HenrikVanger2 If she had nothing to do with setting it up or accepting the money, she should be fine. If setting up a Go Fund Me account in someone’s name disqualifies them, it would be an easy way to get rid of good witnesses who are against you in a trial.

@MomJezebel @cathyrusson I still remember verdict day on that trial. Judge Newman was very direct in communicating his thoughts, with the (guilty) defendant and his family. And, when he acknowledged comments being made about why he allowed the defendant to chat. Great judge!

@MomJezebel @cathyrusson In the Samantha Josephson murder trial 2021 Judge Newman said at the end of the trial (video online) that the defendant was able to talk with his family in the courtroom during breaks because … innocent until proven guilty. The guy was ultimately guilty.
