@OtaLorenius That's a whole checklist! 5 drawings + beta reader + 3 read-throughs are serious dedication.
Going to be such a satisfying moment when it's finally posted!
@Kumo_KD That's usually a good sign. The difference is whether the switch feels intentional or inconsistent does she feel unpredictable by design, or like the author's still figuring her out?
@amoebakat@BradRTorgersen Solid advice. Romance readers know the genre deeply and expect the conventions to be respected, especially the HEA/HFN. You have to know the rules before breaking them.
@VaeScripta I'd be interested! I'm a beta reader and editor, and I do read BL happy to give feedback on what you've got so far.
How should I get the chapters?
@DameonGeppetto The stranger worry is fair, though. That's why starting with one chapter is smart, low-commitment, and you can see if their feedback works for you.
I'm a beta reader and editor if you ever want to test that out with me!
@Exh4ustN The AI-WRITING fear is so common right now usually it means you're overthinking it, not that it's true. And being embarrassed by your own work is a rite of passage.
I'm a beta reader and editor if you ever want that outside opinion. No judgement here!
