Think about the sheer velocity of that decay. You went from a globally competitive currency and top-tier industrial output to the total evaporation of property rights, the weaponization of the central bank, and the absolute destruction of the agricultural supply chain.

It takes generations of meritocracy, rule of law, and rigorous economic planning to construct world-class infrastructure. But it only takes a single generation of economic illiteracy, unbridled corruption, and predatory political patronage to turn it all into a cautionary tale.

The tragedy isn't just that they didn't know how to build; it's that they didn't even know how to maintain what was already built.

British WW2 Veteran Recounts The Destruction of Dresden

Victor Gregg (1919–2021) was held as a POW in Dresden when the Allied firebombing began. After a bomb damaged his prison, he escaped into the burning streets and tried helping save anyone he could during the firestorm.

In various interviews he stated the Allies committed war crimes ordered in Britain’s name and condemned Winston Churchill.

She sentenced ex-soldier Daffron Williams — a 41-year-old veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and suffers from PTSD — to two years in prison (half to be served in custody) for Facebook posts made in the tense days after the Southport child murders.

His posts referenced “civil war is here” and included anti-Islamic imagery. She acknowledged his military service, good character references, and mental health struggles… but still sent him to prison for words on the internet.

The same judge has also jailed others for social media posts in the post-riot crackdown, including 24-year-old David Morgan who received 20 months for tweets involving Nazi imagery and racist content.

Yet when Rees Newman — convicted of the historic rape of a girl under 14 — appeared before her for breaching his sex offender requirements, she suspended his two-month jail term, explicitly citing prison overcrowding.

His crime was saying he prefers a culture that does not approve of FGM, child marriage, and killing infidels. A British citizen can no longer criticize Islam in public. That is a thought dictatorship.

Il meccanismo principale è quello che definisco “termostato di riflessività nuvole-luce solare”. Le nubi, essendo bianche e altamente riflettenti, rimandano nello spazio circa il 90 % della luce solare incidente: rappresentano così l’elemento più cruciale, e al tempo stesso più trascurato, del sistema climatico.
Due terzi della superficie terrestre sono occupati dagli oceani; il solo Oceano Pacifico copre circa metà del pianeta.
La copertura nuvolosa media globale è del 67 % (circa il 50% sulle terre emerse e il 75% sugli oceani). Sostengo che proprio queste proprietà evidenti e determinanti delle nubi costituiscano il pezzo mancante del puzzle climatico.
Una volta compreso il ruolo di questo meccanismo termostatico naturale, appare chiaro perché non vi sia alcun rischio di collasso climatico.”
Bisogna smettere di vivere nell’ansia permanente di un’apocalisse climatica che non esiste. La Terra non è un paziente in terapia intensiva: è un sistema robusto, governato da meccanismi naturali potentissimi come l'attività solare, gli oceani, le nubi, i ghiacci, ecc, che da milioni di anni stabilizzano il clima senza bisogno di panico, di politiche punitive o di sacrifici inutili. L’unica vera emergenza è quella di tornare a ragionare con la scienza vera, non con la paura.
