Turns out that @jeb_ isn’t a fan of the exploding bed mechanic in the Nether but rather thay they keep due to tradition and because players use it as a way to kill the dragon.

@Bleu_2ay the worst part about the exploding beds is the godawful "drop all your items on death and you have to get them back on a timer" system* so if that's where your complaint comes from i think it's misdirected

*made sense in 2011 when the best gear was Unenchanted Diamond
