Love ObiAni & Ferkin the most 🫶🏻😻 Other bot Anakin/Vader ships are GREAT 💖💥 Topwan only and no I don't ship him with anyone outside of Anakin and Siri.
Feel free to talk to me 🎀
@kirab0sh1 The art is lovely 🥰 Oh Empress Anakin you are so loved by your Emperor. I want to see Emperor Obi-Wan order his army to take the most high quality silk ever on the galaxy to make Anakin's clothes
This contrast also highlights a tragic asymmetry. Sabé is permitted to move beyond her devastation and begin constructing a new identity after the arc. Vader, by contrast, never reaches that stage fully
Sabé ultimately fails in her attempt to reconstruct herself as a new person, like her foil, Vader. Why? Because they can't face their personal truth, they can't overcome themselves.
One interesting point, Sabé's resurrection is tied to both Luke and Leia. While Luke initiates her transformation by confronting her grief and self-destructive obsession, it is Leia's presence that gives her a new purpose beyond mere survival.
"Suffering" is a moral word. Like in Dos' works emphasizes by suffering the man can be led to moral purification. Yet, if the purpose of suffering is to redeem the individual from sin, as in Sabé's case, suffering seems to lose its redemptive force.
These two pages from Darth Vader (2020) #48 feel like could have been lifted from a Dostoevsky novel.
"Perhaps suffering is just as great a benefit to him as well-being? Man is sometimes extraordinarily, passionately in love with suffering, and that's a fact"

Anakin has a mysterious "secret job" and often leaves his apartment at odd hours. Naturally, that fuels the wild conspiracy theories already rattling around in Obi-Wan's head
I have many crazy ObiAni plots that describe Anakin like an entity. In one story set amid the UFO panic of 60s US, a lonely Obi-Wan becomes convinced that Anakin is a visitor from Venus. Whether he's right or not, Obi-Wan quickly develops an attachment to Anakin
Wait I passed out mid thread so the thread feels vagueposting. The plot is actually pretty simple: Obi-Wan, a tinfoil-hat-wearing weirdo who spends most of his time in his apartment meets his new neighbor Anakin on a Sunday night in mid-July.
