@On3@PeteNakos Texas law doesn’t govern the B12. It is incorporated in Delaware. I like Paxton but he has no standing here. His tactics are irrelevant.
@Jimmy_Dfrom903@pvillerr@RossDellenger@YahooSports Tech doesn’t bring relevance to any conference. And they are not in their rights to violate by-laws that they agreed to as members. Action by the conference will be taken in accordance.
@pvillerr@RossDellenger@YahooSports Sure thing, sport. You must be a teenager because your post smacks of immaturity. The adults will decide this and standards of conduct will be center stage.
@pvillerr@RossDellenger@YahooSports You didn’t go to school anywhere, obviously. Do you know anything about media payouts and required inventory? I thought not. I sent two of my kids through Tech, and their actions are unacceptable and reflect very poorly on reputable institutions. Tech is very easily replaceable.
@pvillerr@RossDellenger@YahooSports LOL! Read the B12 By-laws and get back to me. I’m sorry to say that Tech is an embarrassment to the B12. Fortunately for cfb, the B12 is going to take action. If Tech doesn’t like it, they can leave the conference.
@pvillerr@RossDellenger@YahooSports You are correct as they will just suspend Sorsby for conference games. If Tech pushes back then harsher penalties will be forthcoming. The kid isn’t going to play. The conference will make sure of that.
@DubayTom@RossDellenger@YahooSports Yes, that will be one of the penalties. Tech is making a massive mistake and is going to pay dearly if they continue on this path.
@pvillerr@RossDellenger@YahooSports Tech signed the B12 by-laws and there are soon to be harsh consequences for them. The B12 conference is going to drop the hammer and if Tech takes it to court, it will be federal and not in Texas. If Tech continues to fight, they will be expelled from the B12.
@NoWolfHowl@bmarcello Yes, the B12 has by-laws and can penalize Tech for violating them. The conference can suspend Sorsby from conference games, and I suspect they will.
@TTRedRaider1983@bmarcello They sure can cut Sorsby. The judges order only allows the kid to play. Where he is ALLOWED to play is another matter altogether and not in the judge’s control. Tech will face severe repercussions if they attempt to play him.
@rgregglee@NicoleAuerbach You are completely off base. Schools sit, suspend, and kick players off their teams all the time. If Tech doesn’t act, the B12 will penalize them and it will be harsh.
@preacherauron@NicoleAuerbach Actually, they can penalize Tech. It is in the B12 by-laws that every member signed off on. It will be a shame if Tech lets it get to that point. And make no mistake the B12 is preparing to act.
