Good afternoon Zimbabwe & beyond. We have about 23 people with albinism who are in need of medications, biopsies and scans following the Skin Cancer Screenings we did in Bulawayo and Gweru. Im here before you appealing for support towards this cause. May God bless you for helping
Too different for the Shona market and not SA standard enough for the Bulawayo market only international markets truly accept and embrace what they do without needing to be convinced . Just my thoughts 🤷🏾♂️
AHOY MaJourneymen!
It’s been a while! Have you got any #Throwback fortos of your apprenticeship days? Let’s go!
Throwback to 1984 ,Circle Cement Limited ,Arcturus Road ,Harare.
Posing with the first ever star-delta starter I wired from scratch. I was a third year appy sparky, and wired it under the supervision of my journeyman,Bipin Patel ,centre .
To his right he is fellow apprentice and former classmate at Ardbennie Primary School,Mike Jacobs.
To this day,I advise youngsters to consider going the apprenticeship route.
Some degrees out there are obsolete! Think very carefully, vapfanha!
A trade will take you places.
As part of my acceptance speech, I thanked my Twitter family profusely. I love you guys and I appreciate you deeply 🥹
Talking is not my strongest point (writing is 😝), so I didn’t say much after “Thank you to my Twitter family”. But here’s what I wanted to say:
“To my Twitter family, I can never thank you enough. You guys have no idea how much you have done for me. You have played, and keep on playing, an incredible role in making my writing career the success it is. It’s rare to find a community on social media that roots for you, has your back, supports you- and not just in words. Numbers don’t lie- and show you the kind of love I feel from my eCommunity. I may never get the chance to thank you one by one, but please know that I deeply appreciate you.
From the bottom of my heart, ngiyabonga kakhulu. Ndoboka kwazo. Ndinotenda zvikuru. ” 🫶🥹😭
We brought it home, baybay!!! 💃
Yours,
Dr. Multi-Award Winning Author 😝
