SMROOKIES have officially been revealed!!!! There’s a lot I want to reveal but I’m scared to disappoint many and receive death threats once again (why I haven’t been active) but I’ll say this. Shotaro gave a hint on his last live so. And remember Hendery, YangYang & Hendery pass.

@aesdolI @lovelyjjjjjjjh The main problem there was a stronger line up for SMNBG since 2018 separate from the NCT Trainees but a lot of those trainees wanted to join NCT line but were told there for SMNBG so they left one by one. Most male trainees want to join NCT system but when told no they leave.

@lovelyjjjjjjjh It depends on how well the Trainees progress and when SM feels comfortable to debut them. As of now the trainees are split into two (NCT Trainees/Regular Male Trainees) and SMNBG are regular trainees so there most likely more newer so anything can happen with them.

The Trainees that I have mentioned will take part in NCT Tokyo. As For NCT Hollywood it’s still in discussion but possibility the American born trainees may take part in the unit.

As for NCT Trainees they recently have been practicing with Sungchan and Shotaro once again and are getting along smoothly. They even joke with SMNBG trainees as well and help them with practice to prepare there debut.

He was supposed to debut in NCT 2020 as the third member that would be introduced in the repackaged album but couldn’t due to a serious knee energy and had to sit out. That is why there is a extra pod with nobody in it in the teaser pics.

The Male Trainee System is split into 2: Normal Trainees and NCT Trainees. Depending on your skill in entering SM they will place you between the two, if you show promise your NCT trainee, but if your lacking but pass Normal Trainee.
