@Keg767 U are right about CGT, but in your example- interest income is not treated as capital gains, its treated as ordinary income

super is equivalent to 401k- not social security

Canada and UK have free healthcare too, taxes aren’t as high as Australia, Canadian tax brackets - like the US, are inflation adjusted- unlike Australia
