@ApopkaHS had a lockdown yesterday because a student on campus had a gun and was threatening us, and they couldn't find him. The administration and principal never addressed this with the students. Never gave word of comfort or told us anything. Proceeded with the day as normal.

Clearly we need phones for safety purposes and many parents agree. However this is not a place of democracy. It really seemed as if the school doesn't care about the students well being, and surely isn't doing a good job at making us feel safe at their school.
