/nbh, I just saw a Reddit post talking about there being "too many kids" who like femtanyl this morning, and it's not the first time I've seen that kind of sentiment, so I decided to tweet about it. :p
What is it with people in their early adulthood and like..getting mad at kids/saying they're just "wannabe emo" or "bandwagon"/"dogpiling" on "edgy" media, like certain types of music/music artists, as if they've just forgotten THEY were 14 when they started liking metal?
Kids can be depressed and/or relate to heavily emotionally driven music and stuff too. You don't have to be 25 to be a "true fan." Let people enjoy things, even kids.
TOTALLY FORGOT TO POST ABOUT THIS WHEN IT GOT HERE, BUT MY SIGNED COPY OF THE NEW CWHOS ALBUM VINYL FROM @goodkidband GOT HERE THE OTHER DAY, AND I'M SO HAPPY, BUT WE DON'T HAVE OUR RECORD PLAYER SET UP RN SO I CAN'T EVEN LISTEN TO IT YET 😭
In any case, one of my best purchases

All of these controls already exist for parents without having to share PII for themselves, their children, and every other citizen.
The ASAA does NOTHING about the "inappropriate" content or in-app dangers. It does not protect children.
Data is gold and having even more accurate data will allow Big Tech to make their products even more precise to individual users.
The App Store Accountability Act is a de facto Digital ID - and what is being sold as "child protection" is just the beginning.
They said that on Twitter “AI-generated content is considered 'high quality content' if it's 'Hollywood level' production” which is ridiculous.
Say no to generative AI! It doesn’t matter how “Hollywood” it looks it is all AI slop
@Autistic_Lauren Nope, not really. Or if I do, I'm very good at overcoming it without even realizing it. I'm generally quite good at video games. Not excellent or anything, but above average. Though perhaps something like this is why the 2 games that I'm best at only require a single input.. 🤷♀️
