it’s always so amazing to be confronted with the power of picking up things that you truly love!! i read this cover to cover just because i couldn’t NOT after seeing the anime and dying to see more of them, and to see how the story continues!! now onwards to volume two 🤍
Why I like writing in a new language so much 💖
Writing, in a way, is like a snapshot in time. I can look back over my pages and see how I've grown and improved as the months go by.
A mini thread:
we don’t talk about long covid enough for my liking. people acting like when you get covid you either recover fully or you go to the icu and die. some people have moderate symptoms that still haven’t gone away after MONTHS and they’re debilitating. i don’t want that
I keep reminding myself that language learning isn't like an escalator constantly moving up. It's more like a slippery slope where you often feel you're slipping yet before you know it you reach, if not the top, at least a comfortable resting spot.
@nocturnal_seoul way longer than i would’ve liked 😅 i even skipped the kanji section (i’m using another book for that) and i still spent about 6 months with it, but that’s only because life stuff made it difficult to be consistent at times!!
