Here’s the problem. The liberal political class wants us to treat atrocities like Belfast as single, random, isolated incidents. “Yes, it’s horrific, but don’t overreact,” they say. “Let the police do their job. Justice will be delivered. Let’s remain united,” and so on.

But the public can see that such incidents *aren’t* random or isolated. They are, in fact, all the consequence of massive state failure in the area of asylum and immigration. All roads lead back there.

That’s why people are angry.. They are sick of the platitudes that get trotted out after each fresh incident. They don’t want to hear them anymore. They know that the decisions of establishment politicians have brought us to this current pass, and they don’t trust those same politicians to fix things, especially when some of them refuse to even recognise that the public’s anger is justified.

There has been a huge vibe shift in recent years. Imagine - God forbid - there were another 7/7. Does anyone think the public response would be anything like as restrained as it was then? We are in really dangerous territory.

The public don’t want flowers and candles and “Don’t let them divide us.” They want someone who says, “I recognise that the state has failed abjectly. We have allowed far too many people to settle in the country without knowing who they truly are. It has disrupted your communities. Your anger is justified. And I will do everything in my power to put things right.”

Any politician unwilling to articulate that message, fully and sincerely, is effectively sanctioning more years of growing social disharmony and discord. Things cannot heal until those in power recognise the extent of the problem and what it will take to fix it. And, on both counts, most of them don’t.

That’s why the next few years are going to be very, very turbulent.

This is not just about me. This is a SLAPP-style attempt to bankrupt and silence a gay man who refuses to lie about sex, biology, and the safeguarding of children. Ugla’s lawsuit is designed to scare anyone who dares question the current orthodoxy. If it succeeds, it sets a precedent that critics of gender ideology can be dragged through the courts and financially ruined for telling the truth.
I have no big organisation behind me. I am an ordinary Icelander relying on the goodwill of people worldwide who still believe in evidence-based safeguarding, free speech, and the right of gay men to say that men are not women and that kids need protection.

Britain had a moment of silence for George Floyd. Our politicians kneeled en masse to show their outrage at his killing. "I can't breathe" became a slogan.

George Floyd died on the other side of the world. He wasn't British.

Henry Nowak *was* British and his treatment by the police was shocking and negligent in the extreme. Yet there is no minute of silence. There is no coordinated public campaign. There is no kneeling at sporting events.

And we all know why.

During the summer of BLM, some people said "All Lives Matter". This was treated as the highest form of racism and anyone who said this was immediately cancelled. Why? Because the people in charge don't actually think all lives matter in the same way.

They have created a racial hierarchy of victimhood where a career criminal who died through mistreatment by police in a foreign country with 0 evidence of racism like George Floyd is automatically sanctified because of the colour of his skin.

And Henry Nowak, a British man, one of ours, is automatically dismissed and ignored because of the colour of his.

This is the ugly fruit of so-called "anti-racism", an obsession with race that has created a two-tier society which treats people differently because of the colour of their skin.

This needs to stop.

He Punished Officers For Telling The Truth. Then He Was Arrested For Stealing From Them.

Mukund Krishna was the first civilian chief executive of the Police Federation of England and Wales. He was a former management consultant born in India who relocated to the UK in 2007 and had no frontline policing experience. He was paid £701,100 a year, more than twice the salary of the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police and thirty times the salary of a starting constable. Across 2024 and 2025 his total remuneration was £1.4 million. Some of the 145,000 rank and file officers his organisation represented were using food banks to feed their families.

On March 3rd 2026 the Police Federation publicly called for a minimum seven percent pay rise for officers, warning that morale and recruitment were suffering. The following morning Krishna was arrested by the City of London Police's Domestic Corruption Unit on suspicion of fraud by abuse of position. He has now been sacked. He will receive no further payments.

Before his arrest Krishna had used the Police Federation to do two things. Collect £1.4 million across two years. And punish officers who told uncomfortable truths about policing.

Rick Prior, the head of the Metropolitan Police Federation, was suspended in October 2024 after warning publicly that his members were increasingly nervous about challenging people from some ethnic minorities for fear of being labelled racist. His offence was stating precisely what the Henry Nowak case, the West Yorkshire Police sectarian policing story and the Rotherham and Rochdale grooming gang inquiries had all documented independently. Fear of a racism accusation was paralysing British policing. Prior named it. Krishna suspended him.

Richard Cooke was removed as chairman of the West Midlands Police Federation for posting a comment online disputing suggestions his force was institutionally racist. Krishna removed him too.

The High Court ruled both suspensions unlawful and a breach of Article 10 free speech rights. The Police Federation spent more than half a million pounds of its members' money defending the claim. Members who were using food banks. The man authorising that expenditure was collecting £701,100 a year and incurring legal costs exceeding £1 million in 2024 alone.

The problems were visible long before the arrest. In January 2025 Craig Hewitt, the Head of Civil Claims and National Board Member, resigned with a damning email exposing alleged long-standing financial mismanagement. A Tortoise Media investigation found that the federation had used 14 confidentiality agreements in settlements costing more than £700,000 and that multiple senior officials faced disciplinary proceedings after questioning Krishna's approach. Glassdoor reviews from employees described a toxic working environment and a marked increase in questionable dismissals and suspensions of very senior officials.

The pattern is now complete and precisely documented. A civilian management consultant with no policing background was installed as the first chief executive of the organisation representing rank and file officers. He suppressed the officers who named the two tier policing problem. He spent members' money silencing them. Warning signs of financial mismanagement were documented and ignored. And he was arrested the morning after his organisation demanded better pay for officers some of whom could not afford to feed their families.

On est intervenus vers 22h, après l’appel pour un feu de poubelles qui dégénérait. On pensait à un simple incident de soirée. On est arrivés sur place et c’était l’enfer. Paris, ma ville, celle où j’ai grandi, où j’ai fait mes premières gardes, était devenue une zone de guerre. Des fumées noires partout, des cris, des explosions de mortiers. Des groupes de jeunes, souvent issus de l’immigration, cagoulés, organisés, qui chargeaient les forces de l’ordre comme sur un champ de bataille.
J’ai vu des collègues policiers se faire lyncher à coups de barre de fer. J’ai vu une voiture de police caillassée alors qu’on sortait juste pour éteindre un feu qui menaçait des familles. On a été pris à partie par des émeutiers qui nous hurlaient dessus, nous traitant de “chiens”. On essayait juste de sauver des vies, et on devenait des cibles.
J’ai ramassé un gamin de 14 ans, le visage en sang, qui pleurait en disant qu’il avait suivi “les grands” pour “s’amuser”. J’ai vu une mère de famille, volets fermés, qui nous suppliait de protéger ses enfants pendant que ça cassait tout en bas. Les vitrines défoncées, les commerces pillés, les voitures brûlées… tout ça sous prétexte de “fêter” quelque chose.
Fêter, ce n’est pas casser.
C’est ça, la France en 2026 ? Un pays où on ne peut plus sortir le soir sans risquer sa vie ? Un pays où des quartiers entiers sont livrés à des clans qui ne respectent ni nos lois, ni notre histoire, ni nos pompiers, ni nos policiers ? Où on regarde impuissant notre capitale, symbole de lumière et de culture, transformée en terrain de jeu pour des barbares qui crachent sur la main qui les nourrit ?
Cette nuit, en rentrant chez moi à 6h du matin, encore couvert de suie et de sueur, j’ai pleuré comme un gosse. Pas de fatigue. De rage et de tristesse. Pour mes enfants. Pour mes collègues blessés. Pour ce pays que j’aime et qui se laisse mourir.

You might have heard of Maggie Oliver.

She's a former Greater Manchester detective who, in 2012, was ordered to abandon her investigation into the systematic rape of children in Rochdale, and decided she would rather resign her warrant card rather than do so.

Maggie, as that would imply, is one of the good ones. I constantly ask how our police can consider themselves worthy of the badge if they are not willing to return the badge rather than commit injustice in its name. Maggie did just that; she was asked to cover for criminals, so she told the shirts to stuff themselves and handed back her commission.

She won a small but consequential victory in the High Court on Friday. Mr Justice Kimblin granted her foundation a full judicial review of whether the British state has actually done anything about the recommendations it accepted, in 2022, at the end of a seven-year inquiry into the institutional cover-up of decades of child sexual abuse.

Maggie Oliver is one woman. She has no political party behind her and no standing in Whitehall. She has no peerage, no chambers, no billionaire foundation footing her bills.

She was ordered, by senior officers, to drop her investigation into a network of men who were raping children in industrial quantities in her city, because of the demographics to which those men belong made the whole thing a bit awkward.

Fourteen years on, she has done what nobody else in this country has been able to. She has hauled the British state into open court to answer for the choice it made, over four years and under two governments, to hold a seven-year, £200 million inquiry into the institutional cover-up of child abuse and implement, deliberately, none of that inquiry's recommendations.

The Home Office accepted those recommendations in 2022. So did the Department for Education, the police inspectorates and the Crown Prosecution Service. And then nothing happened. The recommendations sat. The departments restructured. Ministers rotated.

The girls and women who had given evidence aged. More such operations continued around the country, while the men who had run the previous set of them either walked free, left the country, or drew their own pensions.

The state, in the manner of every institution Tony Blair ever built, had decided that the writing of the report was the action, and the doing of the report could be handed off to history.

That is what Maggie Oliver has now forced into court. And the political class knows what that means. The Home Secretary has not commented. The Prime Minister has not commented. The candidates jockeying through the post-Starmer Labour succession have, at the time of writing, failed even to speak her name, as though they know that, if they do, lightning will flash in the sky and they'll be turned into a pillar of Tesco's-own-brand dishwasher salt.

They are silent because they recognise, accurately, that the answers a judicial review will produce - to the question of why their inquiry's findings were treated as ornamental - will, should, must end the careers of every official who was supposed to act on them and did not. That councillors and councils, mayors, indeed entire political parties, will be caught under ultraviolet light and shown for their guilt.

It's time a government did what the British state has spent twenty years declining to do. Take on institutional failure.

Name the institutions that failed, in public, on the record. Name the officers and officials who covered it up, and the officers and officials who pressed for the cover-up too. Prosecute them under the standards that any other employee of a public organisation defrauding the public would expect to face.

The recommendations the inquiry produced must be implemented in full, alongside whatever further measures a second look at the evidence then demands.

There will not be another inquiry into the inquiries. There will be the verdicts.

Maggie Oliver is one of the bravest people in Britain. She has earned, by her own resignation and by fourteen years and a foundation and a court case carried on her back, the right to expect from a future British government the simple thing that ought to have happened in 2014, in 2016, in 2018, in 2022 and in every other year of this national disgrace.

She has not yet been given it; we have not yet been given it. But it will be given, and soon.
