MUCH to process from @defuseDublin. Initial thoughts:
1) Community is critical for design, for life (thanks @ixdadublin et al)
2) This talk is not disposable, WE WILL TAKE ACTION. Blog next, maybe @Futures_Design local chapter too?
3) Thx for the ❤️🤘👏

[Aoife O’Dwyer @aoifeodwyer]

Everything about this talk was awesome!! 🤩 The energy from @cloudsteph got us all fired up & ready to dive headfirst into designing the future we want 🙌 What a number to finish on! 👏 #DefuseDublin @defuseDublin

wondering why it's taken so long to kill this dormant a/c on this horror show platform...

wondering why i finally gave into the twitter invites...

@RemiTrain Vous annulez le train de Chenonceau á Tours, puis nous attendons le bus 18:05 et il ne se présente pas non plus? Que fais-tu???

Burst of activity on 🦋, feels like early days of this place. Aka so much better. There for the foreseeable.

[Daniel Whooley @DanielWhooley]

This has been known for YEARS!

It's not just a bad policy, it's a textbook inflationary policy as there's no counterweight to stop developers from increasing house prices to match the first time buyers schemes!

Looking to connect with experienced contractors - API Development + Front End Development + Service Design + Agile Delivery/Coaching. Co-located with an in-house team in Dublin city centre.

Complex problem. Massive impact for the city. Long term benefits for society.

@SimonHarrisTD @realDonaldTrump The pandering, self-interest. Wow.

[Stephie Graphics @cloudsteph]

Green line @Luas wasn’t having a great evening and then an accident involving a cyclist has stalled us at the junction of Dorset and Dominick St blocking the road. Hopefully all involved are okay. Imagine more delays ahead for tonight.

[Stephie Graphics @cloudsteph]

@IrishRail @RailUsersIe Thank you! Trying to time meeting someone off the train.

[Stephie Graphics @cloudsteph]

@IrishRail any idea when the 14:08 Farranfore to Heuston might get moving again? Tree on the line apparently. @RailUsersIe

[Stephie Graphics @cloudsteph]

@RailUsersIe Yikes. Good luck to all on board. Caught an episode of the BBC doc on Crossrail a week or so ago where they tested the process of getting passengers off a broken down train. IIRC they had the few hundred passengers on an empty rescue train in under an hour.

[Stephie Graphics @cloudsteph]

@RailUsersIe Cripes. Is there no playbook for this?

[Stephie Graphics @cloudsteph]

If you have a Spotify sub, this audiobook is included. Been meaning to get into it for a while, curious if it might help unravel some of the recent news. https://t.co/o3atRpNTdq

That’s a lot of strange looking buses and bicycles going south over Broome Bridge. No wonder the N2 struggles to keep time. Better signage and markings needed? @DubCityCouncil @DublinCommuters

The noise pollution is chronic. And then there’s the pollution from the fryers, but we would take the ability to sleep over anything.

[Stephie Graphics @cloudsteph]

If anyone has experience of submitting a noise complaint against a premises to Dublin City Council, and how to get a result, I’d greatly appreciate any advice. There’s a 7 nights a week issue with a restaurant beneath my partner’s gaff and the staff quite frankly DGAF.

Called in in person multiple times after 11pm asking for music to be turned down or off. Ignored. Emails to landlord met with apologies. Problem continues. Reggaeton blaring until ~2am Sat and on again tonight. Place closes to the public at 10.30 and it’s quiet during biz hours!
