My understanding of the X-Men universe ahead of #doomsday

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@JaxonRobertL @TherealAvenger_ @Samus2k21 @Scoobster2004 I’m leaning towards this, I don’t trust Marvel to be fully accurate, but I trust them to bank on the 10005 universe nostalgia regardless

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@chrismegrath I was actually shocked at how accurate they remained to the original movies, other than the hair and outfit (which people can change all the time, also this a shapeshifter), all the face markings are in the exact same place and the same shapes

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@TherealAvenger_ @Samus2k21 @Scoobster2004 I mean, these timelines are not co-existing

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@Steakhouserage @m_a_kwesi @Austinhar27 @sinsnexus Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix take place in the universe after it was reset in DOFP, the ending of DOFP takes place in the future after Apocalypse and DP. The original universe was destroyed by sentinels and reset

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@flowerlole @sinsnexus The original universe mutants got destroyed by Sentinels, it completely reset in DOFP

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@ImmortalDemon97 @Samus2k21 A scene in DOFP actually shows that Mystique can switch between looking like JL and RR, so she probably just prefers looking like RR later in life

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@ImmortalDemon97 @Samus2k21 Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique was just an younger version of Rebecca Romijn, Doomsday takes place when these characters are old so Rebecca is reprising the role

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@TherealAvenger_ @Samus2k21 @Scoobster2004 It is one giant connected timeline, but it was reset once.

I’m pretty sure most of these points are explained in DOFP

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@ShalkaFanNo1 @Samus2k21 Beast and Nightcrawler’s design changes are probably due to changes in technology and makeup, plus also how the MCU handles these animalistic characters compared to Fox. New outfits are fan service, no reason they can’t have a wardrobe of multiple outfits

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@ArdenAudrey @Samus2k21 More likely than Channing’s Gambit joined the Foxverse after D&W, he probably went through a portal in the void leading there

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@Samus2k21 - Doomsday, I saw someone theorise that because Mystique was killed by the Phoenix Force, she was later brought back whenever Jean was also resurrected without the Phoenix Force

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@Samus2k21 Based on rumours etc, and Deadpools intergration into the MCU, I think it’s all but confirmed that it’s the 10005 Earth (Foxverse). Jean also died in Dark Phoenix but we see her in the DOTF past ending, which is the most recent/latest point of the Foxverse we have seen up until-

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@APPictures9 Also Emily could of been a fan of the Woody’s Roundup show in general, it’s common for people to name children after characters from shows

[Cloud @cloudsticksx]

@_o_Obsidian_o_ @Drag_Crave @AshleyMadisonOG Tbf, it’s only happened with Jimbo and Angeria, and Chad and Kylie were close to the middle
