After @simmonssteve turned the Chayka press conference into a circus, I’m convinced the #Leafs front office has collectively decided, “Screw it, we’re not telling these guys anything.”

Which would explain why Toronto sports “journalists” are now playing NHL Rumour Roulette. Throw Knies, Matthews, the Rangers, Montreal and half the league into a tweet and hope something gets enough engagement.

Amazing how quickly “sources say” turns into “I’m guessing, but please click.”
