@LostIsnotlost I think people are able to understand that fictional children aren’t the same as real ones and still be able to find issues with how eroticizing children’s sexual abuse is not endorsing the action itself as it is supposed to appeal to sexual desire. What about CSA is erotic?
@LostIsnotlost@bash1n_yt@cyborekitygamer Yeah, but is the belief of drawing things = CSAM not different from depicting taboo things = endorsement?
Like, is depicting a child in a situation meant to eroticize them not different from depicting a child being assaulted?
@LostIsnotlost@bash1n_yt@cyborekitygamer This was so clearly made by a proshipper. Believes depiction of taboo themes = condoning them in real life? How is erotica of a fictional child the same as depicting child SA? How illiterate can you people be?
@MochiPawws@Gem_paLayla@TheLittleSketch@ipodwontturnon They’re just a very ignorant white person who does not want to take accountability for the racist things that they do. I mean, even just looking at their recent post means they don’t even acknowledge what they did—they see it as something undeserving of critique.
@poopysituation I choose to think they are people of color saying this and this is a person of color centered trend to keep my skull attached to my spine
@MochiPawws@Gem_paLayla@ipodwontturnon No. It doesn’t. Making a character’s skin darker isn’t whitewashing, nor colorist if you wanna go that far. Reading is fundamental. And you can make a character’s skin lighter for lighting purposes without changing the contrast of their skin. It will show in darker areas.
@MochiPawws@Gem_paLayla@ipodwontturnon Whitewashing is not only about making a black character white, it’s also involves making a black character lighter as it is blatant colorism which intersects with whitewashing.
Not only that, but she is weirdly critical of a show with two black characters rather than the other.
