But Anshi wanted to swap because she felt no love for her child due to the previous emperor being a pedo. And Ah-Duo wanted to give Jinshi the best chance of survival in the palace!

@maisogyny I honestly think Jinshi knows to a degree. Or he has that idea. But that would mean he’d have to admit he’s the current emperors son. But Jinshi also doesn’t want the throne, since he wants to be with maomao and taking the throne would bring complications for him and Maomao!

@dangitman50 @anime_daily Lore wise, that’s what happened. Anshi and Ah-Duo did a baby swap for many reasons. Jinshi is actually the current emperors son, and Jinshi is the name he uses while posing as a eunuch! His true name given to him is Ka Zuigetsu
