Jason Simpkins (2028, SC) had a great performance on the bump with a complete game shut-out. Mixed pitches well, and could ramp it up. His fastball had life, and made hitters guess. Has a long whippy arm action.

Nate Fagan (2028, NC) lines one into RF for an RBI single. Short simple swing with good execution. Solid direction, and approach. Quick hands, and gets the job done.

Lawton Nelson (2028, SC) pieces a fastball the opposite way. Uses lower half effectively, shifts weight on back side. Lets the ball get deep, and drove it with authority. Uses toe tap, and stays on plane.

James Fox (2027, NC) Turns on a slider for a base knock. Did a good job getting the bat head out. Caught it out front, and adjusted to an off-speed pitch. Solid 2-strike approach. #PG16UBCSCOASTALCHAMPIONSHIP

Liam Gordon (2028, NC) delivers a line drive into CF for a RBI single. Stayed back on a breaking ball, making a slight adjustment. Balanced swing, and can cover the bottom of the zone. Uses a short stride, and protects the plate.

Rylan Holley (2028, NC) delivers a line drive into the LCF gap to continue the late inning rally. Recognized fastball out of the hand, and turned on it for a base knock. Short stride, uses his hips/core. Good bat to ball skills.
