@larry_boywonder@witchbeans22 Not sure how you review that, and then not decide to go with ball don’t lie and send them to pens, but the corpse of De Bruyne lives on
@mothmansbong And im not even one to give a shit about what’s popular. It just feels, so detached from the world I live in, like they’re trying to distract me while picking my pocket. But like everything, it all comes back to class struggle
Do you think people who spent their entire lives pursuing music only to peak as the song used for a tiktok trend are content with their art? Or do you think they resent the medium that has reduced them to a fad discarded after a week?
@mothmansbong God. Yeah. Stan culture is what I was looking for. I don’t know if it’s consumerism, or what. You can do shit normally, I know, but then it feels like nothing is catered to you. Maybe when I get older that weird cultural FOMO won’t matter. It just feels like a drag,
@mothmansbong I don’t know the best way to put it. But I’ve had that thought for a very long time. It makes enjoying something casually feel almost like a waste of time. Like I’m sorry this isn’t my “one thing”, and makes it feel like I have nothing? Idk. I get why kids feel lost man, me too
@mothmansbong then nothing is made for you, if that makes sense? I feel like culture has become a trend of obsessions and fixations, perverted from liking something into it needing to be something you’re all consumed by. And that that’s what makes your “niche” feel like culture.
