Yesterday we did something Odd!! We did a @checkers_sa Odd Bin wine tasting. I was pleasantly surprised by them! My favourite was the 426 White Blend. It tasted like a Chardonnay to me.

After that we opened some more wine. Because what pairs better with wine than more wine!!

We opened a 2003 Driefontien Shiraz by @detorenprivatecellar. A beautiful wine. I loved it.

The 2019 Artisan Range from @vredeenlust was also very nice. A blend of Petite Verdot and Shiraz. A beautiful blend.

Last one we opened was a 2021 Cabernet Frank from @lozarnwines.

@VredeEnLust @LozarnWines I love Cabernet Frank. Don't drink it enough. Not sure why but I'll start drinking a lot more because I really enjoy them. This was very good. There is still some in the bottle for later 😊.

You can tell it spent 24 months in a French oak barrel. I got blackberry, plum, cedar, cigar box, chocolate, black cherry, strawberry and oak.

I score this wine an amazing 98

We opened an 2018 Tumara blend by @BellevueWines. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Had a glass before chilling it and it was amazing once chilled. Brings so much of the flavours out.
