@CosmicAngelsHR@R_authorSargent@rockandrollmag Ok if it’s all so unfair, why should Liverpool share what they could earn from TV revenue with other clubs? Without the ‘Red Cartel’ and the ‘rules’ half the league would be in administration.
@CosmicAngelsHR@R_authorSargent@rockandrollmag No you don’t make the rules. At least 15 PL clubs do. It’s called a democracy. Not rules made up by the ‘Red Cartel’. One club (Blue) has broken them to unimaginable levels. General argument is rules need scrapping. Careful what you wish for
@CosmicAngelsHR@ThePigeonShowTV You do know it was an alternative to the Champions League and not the Premier League? (Not that it was still excusable)
@CosmicAngelsHR@ThePigeonShowTV Good answer that one. The league would die without Liverpool, Utd, Arsenal and….oooh…..City (who wanted it as well but are now the paragons of virtue for the like of Everton and Newcastle)
@NostalgicNUFC I agree. Rip up the rules and instead of every PL club getting an equal share of the TV revenue, let each one agree their own deals and keep ‘their’ money. See how that one goes.
@rjaltmann1@ThePigeonShowTV I agree, the rules need looking at and I’m not having a go at you but this Cartel bollocks and the general “clubs should be able to spend what they want”argument is for morons. Ok. Let Liverpool spend all ‘their’ viewing revenue. No that’s not fair……
@CosmicAngelsHR@ThePigeonShowTV We would be though cos us and the other teams who suggested it ( it was wrong to do so and owners were called out) would spell the end of the PL and most clubs in it if we did. That’s not arrogance, it’s the reality if you like it or not
@rjaltmann1@ThePigeonShowTV The same league. The same rules. The rules City have broken to buy the league. Have you actually looked at how many times Liverpool, Utd and Arsenal have won the league compared to City since they cooked the books?
@allanrg1@ThePigeonShowTV Why? Can’t have it both ways. Can’t sit there one minute saying the ‘Cartel’ (yawn) have put rules in place (rules that have to be agreed by 15 other clubs btw) to restrict others and then say restrict the ‘Cartel’ by denying them tv earnings they could earn
@jakatki@ThePigeonShowTV I’m not crying about integrity. I’m going along with your argument to allow clubs to do what they want financially without restrictions including each club to not be bound by a collective tv deal
@rjaltmann1@ThePigeonShowTV Aah so it’s ok for the league’s biggest tv revenue earners to share the money equally…. Rip up all the rules, banish financial fair play, let clubs spend what they want. Go for it. If you think there’s this Red Cartel now, you’d be opening Pandora’s box.
