Author of The CI Desk: FBI and CIA Counterintelligence As Seen From My Cubicle, and former consultant to "The Americans" and "House of Cards" TV series.
@knirish When you designed for The Americans, you searched thrift stores and consignment shops for clothes. What do you do for a period piece like Manhunt?
@DCist@IntlSpyMuseum I remember recording a promo for The Americans one evening at the Spy Museum . We were right next to one of James Bond's cars, and every ten minutes we'd have to stop, since the car "came alive" with machine gun sounds, honking horns, and other "action" noises.
@TheOnion Exactly why my first major in college was Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management. I'd been in a bunch of hotels during family travel, and liked them.
@alison__wright @FordAtkinsonIII But then, Tanya and I spent hours plotting to have Martha escape Washington on her own, leaving both the KGB and FBI behind, and that never happened, either.

@FordAtkinsonIII I always felt that Martha would have chosen to stay in the US and face the music rather than escaping to Russia. And that would have opened up more opportunities for Alison to wow us.
@knirish @IAmJenMcG Same thing with me and my mix tapes (well, CD-Rs), but if I like a song enough, I'll have it on several different mixes, which keeps me from being sure of what will follow.
>Most of the principals in โThe Fourth Manโ were people I worked closely with. In fact, Bob Baer talked to me, and his chapter notes include a half dozen references to my book, The CI Desk.

>@alison__wright Didn't you portray Ginni Thomas once? Bet you missed these aspects of her personality in your research for the role. https://t.co/ZlJPNj3Bal
@alison__wright Sling Blade: A quiet man returns to his hometown after years away. A boy & his mother befriend him. Although he knows it will cost him his freedom, the man takes action to dramatically improve their lives. Sounds like a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie to me!
