@ctochor Maybe try reusable straws instead? You could keep them in your car. Another option is no straw at all.

I can’t help but think, with all that’s happening with climate change & health consequences of plastic/forever chemicals, surely you could focus on better options?

@kentonagbone @ctochor I don’t normally encourage hurling personal insults at politicians…but I have to admit, this one got me laughing pretty hard 🤣

We continue to be awestruck by @FaeJohnstone ‘s incredible leadership and are honoured to work alongside her. To those who would call trans hate “feminism”, you do not speak for us. There is no feminist liberation without trans rights.

We turn away people from the shelter every night, and many people can’t stay in shelters due to past trauma or their needs.

We are failing to address the root causes of these issues

A court in Waterloo recently ruled that encampment evictions are not just immoral but illegal when there isn’t available and accessible housing.

Y.E.S. 👇👇👇📢
Police officers are human, they cannot be experts in everything... especially when their training teaches them skills that antagonize those in the midst of a MH crisis.
