3. Over 18 states, including Gujarat, Bihar, and Karnataka, Telangana granted PR and undergoing postgraduate degrees.

4. PR withheld by Punjab, Delhi (issued until October), J&K, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Haryana (issued till April)

There is no uniformity in application of this rule along with being forceful implementation retrospectively in just few states. while most of the states given the PR to those who started or completed their internship before NMC notice of July 28,2022

All India Medical Students’ Association request’s @OfficeOf_MM @mansukhmandviya @MoHFW_INDIA @NMC_IND to sort & clarify the ongoing issues with FMG’s.
1. Many FMGs had to return from war torn Ukraine and Russia and pandemic ridden China and had to continue their education online for no fault of their own. But still even after clearing a screening test which prooves there knowledge, many states are holding back permanent registration for many such qualified graduates with no uniformity for granting Permanent Registration.

2. Students are treated unfairly as even after starting internship in several colleges & hospitals,students are asked to pay fees for internship and still no stipend is being provided to them even after circular through NMC & concerned State Medical Council.Also Government colleges are not being alloted to students to do internship and due to this students are having hardship in doing internship in Private Medical Colleges.

3)Also there is no clarification about “NEXT” ,it’s guidelines to Foreign Medical Graduates making Students & Parents in a State of confusion. @PMOIndia @MedTwitter #FMG #NoToNext

NExT from 2020 batch and not for 2019 batch announced by @mansukhmandviya @MoHFW_INDIA AIIMS Raipur Event. Which means NExT will be rolling out in 2025 and NEET PG will be running normally in 2024 and 2025 also. Await formal announcement from @NMC_IND.

Stop burdening interns with sampling and paperworks! Recruit phlebotomists and operators for nonclinical works!
