I am overjoyed to bring you the inspiring story of Clint Malarchuk. You will be captivated by Clint & his perseverance in the face of a series of traumatic challenges. You will also meet Clint’s wife Joanie, whose love & support played an integral role in Clint’s Fight for Life.
Just heard the news about John Garrett passing. He took me under his wing when I was a rookie and taught me about being a pro on and off the ice. great man that will be missed. Rest in pease my friend. Keep em laughing in heaven.
Just finished reading this. Everyone remembers him from that near death skate to the neck. But his true legacy should be how he survived his life and making a difference with this book. Life - and hockey - truly is The Crazy Game @cmalarchuk

Please visit https://t.co/bKYn0N69KY to learn how the US Hockey Hall of Fame has partnered with a wonderful organization, The Ranch – Teammates for Life, helping hockey players of all ages along with their families take on the debilitating effects caused by mental health issues. You can help fight the cause with your donation while honoring a special teammate in your life. Both organizations are 501(c)(3) organizations so your donation can be deductible. One of my favorite ever #Sabres moments at the Memorial Auditorium was when Clint Malarchuk relieved Jacques Cloutier with 5:28 to go in the game against the #Nordiques on April 2, 1989, only ten days after his neck injury! Clint came out to a standing ovation while his teammates took shots on him. Here is that moment. Sorry it's in French! Maybe @martybiron43 can translate. @spittinchiclets is everything great about hockey. I'm not sure before this week that I would have used the word 'IMPORTANT' to describe the show, but @cmalarchuk will change yours just for the listen. Thank you @cmalarchuk for your vulnerability, grit, power, and generosity.
This is one of the best @spittinchiclets interviews. @cmalarchuk is doing great things for the players and the game. Giving players an amazing alternative to traditional rehab is a powerful step in the recovery process.
@cmalarchuk Kudos to you for bearing your soul and sharing your journey with @ryanwhitney6@BizNasty2point0 You are bang on! Buffalo has always and will always have your back.
@spittinchiclets My wife gave me @cmalarchuk's book for my birthday one year and met him at the book signing. I finally got to meet him at a game and was lucky enough to have him sign my jersey. Great human being with a very important message about mental health.
