Would like to call out Herbstreit and how insanely weird it is that he’s spent the last 10 minutes laying into Ohio State fans for being disgruntled with Day.
I’ve never heard something this unprofessional.
This fucking kid gets it.
He’s got what it takes to captain that ship where they need to go.
How refreshing is it to listen to Will Howard in interviews? Square jaw, owns shit… He’s a real one.
I ran across this graphic on the internet this morning. I wasn’t aware of this stat by Kirby or some other prominent coaches. I’m not posting this to shoot any shots at Kirby but it makes me and I’m sure others rethink how they talk about our coach. The reason it hits home with me is because how blatant it was how Michigan cheated over the past few years.
We know you have to take one game at a time. It’s mandatory to stay focused on the task at hand but I’m surely looking forward to dancing with those jokers on November 30th. We have the right Head Coach and coaching staff in Columbus. Just need to go out every day and prove ourselves right prior to getting there. None of this stuff is easy. I don’t care if it’s your premier rival or a regular opponent in league play. It’s all important and all serious.
The narrative in Columbus should and needs to be “Win the day”. That’s it. If you win enough days you’ll eventually win them all but if you get distracted with silly narratives then you’ll lose focus. It’s the same mission in business. Do your best everyday and eventually you’ll get where you need/want to be.
Just for context- Jim Harbaugh, Dan Lanning, Kirby Smart and Steve Sarkisian all have losing records against their rivals. Doesn’t make them bad coaches. Just means they have more to improve on despite their success in all other areas! @OhioStateFB
