Without any fanfare, RubyTapas ticked over the 600 episode mark a few weeks back. Every one of those episodes represents many hours of planning, writing, rewriting, coding, voice over, and editing. This little screencast project has outlived a lot of codebases I've worked on.
My favorite conf of the year is open for registration ❤️
So many great people and outdoor activities in an amazing location — don’t miss out!
I booked my tickets to @railscamp_USA 2 days after announcing the dates for Diablo Lake, WA b/c it is the conference I cannot miss!
@nodunayo your code hospitality talk was mentioned on the @_bikeshed podcast. I keep coming back to it myself. The idea of making code bases hospitable is wonderful. Thanks again for sharing at RailsConf.

I just released Referral, a new Ruby CLI that helps you analyze your code. It's probably the most significant thing I've ever contributed to the Ruby OSS ecosystem. Critics are raving:
"It's a good idea for a tool." -@garybernhardt
Please try it out! 💚 https://t.co/dUclaCdhAL
@johnrequiroso @lgw4 @ThePracticalDev That’s understandable. I’ve seen others without that constraint not paying, which is what I’d like to highlight. Sorry, my original message didn’t properly qualify my intent.
@lgw4 @ThePracticalDev No, I don’t use Sublime but with all the replies with “no” makes me want to buy a license.
Why are software engineers so reluctant to pay for software?
