Yesterday we got our daughter home after 12 days in an accute medical ward at NNUH. She is an anorexia sufferer. In her time there we saw upwards of 20 Dr's (Jnr and consultant) and maybe at best 3 had a basic understanding of what this Illness does to people. Rant cont.....

@still_blunt She's been dealing with it for nearly 7 years. It's such a cruel fucking illness and has tested us all in some way. She is a fighter though and has found a new strength since the weekend and is now pushing back harder than ever.

This Illness is a killer and yet so little is known or understood by the very people we cont.
