Here’s two fun Damon stories:

He opened the season hitting 3 HRs in 2021 in 3 games, one over the net opposite field (never saw it happen again), and one at Pepperdine to dead center with the wind blowing in on Sunday. He also stole 3 bases that weekend if I’m not mistaken. He then deadlifted like 600 pounds on Monday.

Later in the season he hit a ball so hard (think EV was 115-120) at Fullerton to third base it dented the bat so much it could be used anymore. He then signed it and gave it to our Athletic Director @TylerMariucci.

He was conference player of the year that year.
