@crycrysnowflake@JBellSATX@JohnCabello@AdamSchefter@RayLong@GovPritzker I know you’re not talking about the packers since Brown County raised taxes to generate $300M for renovations.
The Packers are also publicly owned by shareholders who take $0 in profits & are in the oldest stadium in the league.
Like I said ALL teams get public funding.
@JBellSATX@JohnCabello@AdamSchefter@RayLong@GovPritzker The tax breaks& investment would happen either way.... IN did it, and got a team, and will get the economic growth from it. Buffalo did it, and will earn the money back over the 30yrs by making the Bills pay rent. This is politicians playing stupid games and now finding out
@BuffaloBr0@ecseps Weird purity test. “Adults making money on tickets = embarrassing”
Secondary markets exist everywhere, sports, concerts, etc. Season tickets aren’t charity. With PSLs & other costs, many real fans resell to recoup $$
Good for you never selling, but stop shaming everyone else.
@BuffaloBr0 Here we go again. Bro, look at it this way
You’re a diehard fan, you paid your PSLs and ticket prices because you want to actually GO to games. The price is for the ticket owner to NOT go to a game they really want to go to.
What would you charge to NOT go to the opener?
@TroyPolish@mafiababexoox When I say you’re in the minority I sincerely mean your section could be alone in saying that.
What will you sell the home opener tickets to me for?
@mafiababexoox The cheapest ticket to a season ticket holder is $105. That’s before their PSL cost.
What do you think is a fair cost. And would you charge someone to buy your home opener ticket if you also held PSL costs for 12 months?
@mafiababexoox Actually the Bills did ask and I said yes.
Also look at it this way.. you’re the diehard season ticket holder what would it cost for you to not go tho this game?
This isn’t price gouging this is fans saying you want my ticket here’s my price not to go.
Change your view
@mafiababexoox How is that price gouging??
The price of the ticket doubled YoY & PSLs payments paid for 12+ months.
These are diehard fans & they, like everyone else want to be at these first games in the new stadium.
It would take an absolute brinks truck to sell my tickets.
@anna_bahr “Successfully” closing a $12B deficit by demanding billions more from the rest of New York State isn’t exactly fiscal genius. Easy to avoid hard choices when Albany keeps writing the check.
