@kayla_rose4 Oh absolutely not... But the idea is that any housing is good. In a perfect world you would want all types of housing there but the current state of the us any housing helps overall.
@kayla_rose4 Plus the travel times won't even be much longer since you can just take I-41 down and then head east. Overall its only a couple minutes slower for most places, and would be a shit ton of money for the city too.
@kayla_rose4 Yes. It basically splits the third ward from downtown, and the area it takes up can be filled with housing to help bring down costs for downtown adjacent apartments. Also there still will be a largish avenue running from the interstate to the bridge.
@CMB_80@JBellSATX@JohnCabello@AdamSchefter@RayLong@GovPritzker Cities have been paying large amounts for stadiums and studies have shown it doesn't make that money back in the long run. Good on cities for finally figuring it out. My football team doesn't make the city pay for the expensive renovations because it turns out they can afford it
@bglaeser8 Why dont we ever take on these bad contracts to get even more prospects? Seems like you can get good value out of having a low overall roster price...
@ChuckyLibrary@morklet@pitchprofiler To be fair a decent amount of us were high on the durbin and Collins trades... We have so many young prospects coming up soon that will hopefully be better, so getting other positions high level young players and prospects is more important than a year of decent play.
@HillcrestCardCo This is how I finally learned mental math lol... I was in high school and realized it was a lot easier to add numbers if I just made one of them 10
