I am afraid the PM is clearly confusing a tourist visa with a work visa. The minute someone is paid they no longer qualify for a tourist visa which is why musicians are up in arms and why the Government needs to sort this out ‘Presto’
@hungrybecky Apparently this is the third one! I missed the second one it seems but the first was just like this and almost the same time also on a Tuesday morning.
@GuidoMBrandis@TheBeat23 @charles_tebbs @wigmore_hall This is music being played like music. It would be a senseless waste of time not to play it like that for fear of an unfavorable review.
It is a quite remarkable fact that more time elapsed BETWEEN the painting of these ice age horses [LEFT: Chauvet cave >33,000 years ago and RIGHT: Niaux cave ~15,000 years ago] than has passed since the Niaux cave art and now!
@charles_tebbs But in this case since CPE starts straight away with ambiguity and disorientation in every aspect of the writing it makes perfect sense to play it like this. Very appealing recording!
I have performed with the Locrian Ensemble in this venue and attend concerts there regularly. I am stunned and shocked. The musicians will be joining the homeless. Will they find sustenance or comfort at St Martin in the Fields? Shame on you! https://t.co/e9On5oovsC
Grab some headphones and take 10mins to enjoy our second mini video concert! This time the brilliant Alasdair Beatson treats us to #Beethoven, performing three op.33 Bagatelles on a McNulty copy of a Walter fortepiano from his living room in Brixton.
